ClassGraphic This course is perfect for those who want to learn more about the stock, bond and mutual fund markets including how they work, tracking and following them, what influences their prices, load and no-load mutual funds, and how interest rates can affect your financial well-being and how to manage risk. The course will highlight issues such as stock and index options, domestic and global stock markets, new and hot issues, selling short, tax-free bonds, buying stock on margin, how the stock exchanges work, dollar cost averaging, how to read a typical account statement, retirement plans (IRAs, SEP-IRAs, Roth IRAs, 403Bs, 401ks, Annuities) and how market prices respond to news. Several stock market theories will be discussed and explained.
