What separates a writer from a normal person? Writers notice things—and write them down! This class will explore the practice of keeping a writer’s notebook. More than a journal, a writer’s notebook is a place to record things you see, overhear, touch, and experience. Finally, the writer’s notebook is a launch pad for short story ideas, poetry, and so much more!
Week one will be spent collecting ideas, thoughts, and words. In week two we will develop at least one of these ideas into a larger piece of writing.
