ClassGraphic Does your son or daughter love computers and electronics? Perhaps considering a job someday in the fields of engineering, computer science or manufacturing technology? This might just be the class for them to foster those interests! Students will learn to create and build robotics utilizing LEGO units, machine-tools and engineering design software. The robots will be built in class and the robots/tools provided are for use in class only (does not leave the college). They will learn how to use software to program their robots to accomplish several tasks, next they will compete against other students in the class. Students work in teams of 2-3, learning how to work creatively within a group, as well as increasing their skills in mathematics, technology and engineering.
